      Frequently asked questions

      Eligibility: your questions answered

Can I apply without a relevant bachelor degree?

The NDIS Commission considers a relevant qualification to be a bachelor degree (AQF Level 7) or higher in a relevant field, but may also consider other qualifications that align with the PBS Capability Framework. If you're unsure, answer the questions and choose 'Not sure', and we'll talk it through on a qualifying call back.

      What checks will I need?

You'll need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and a Working with Children (or vulnerable people) check for your state or territory. Contractor roles also need your own ABN and insurance.

What happens after I answer the questions?

You'll see your result straight away. If you meet the requirements, you'll get the link to apply, and if you have the suitable qualifications and experience we'll be in touch to organise a qualifying call back.
